Dimore Delle Zagare Ortigia - Syracuse

We loved exploring Syracuse with this cozy spot as our base! The kids particularly enjoyed the bunk bed, made the room super fun for them. Plus, Emanuela at reception was always there to help.

In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly seating areas would be great.

The location was marvellous and incredible for traveling around Syracuse, really close to the Archimedes fountain, shopping main st, markets or Duomo Piazza, Duomo and harbour and grocery store. The breakfasts were tasteful and free, always with a wide array of meals.

Suitable for a longer stay. Incredible hotel, the stay was special, magnificent location in the old part of the town. Excellent and amiable staff with knowledge of the place.

The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a private terrace, made for a perfect spot to unwind with a drink. The air conditioning kept the room comfortable during hot days. Valet parking proved essential, particularly given the narrow streets of Ortigia. Staff were attentive. Lia at the front desk provided excellent local recommendations which enhanced my experience . The air conditioning emitted a bit of a musty odor that I dealt with instead of reporting. The parking cost felt steep at 25 euros per day, requiring advance notice for pickup. The location was fantastic. I would definitely consider returning despite these few hiccups.

i enjoyed the hotel. most of the staffs were amazing. i stayed here before, always fabulous and luxury rooms with balcony. a shower and good quality toiletries was a plus. my stay was fantastic here.

Really good family-friendly service. Spotlessly clean room. Loved the friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The kids enjoyed the butterfly house recommendation!

Fabulous staff arranged airport shuttle and made great local recommendations. Wi-Fi was unreliable.

We appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in our room and checking in using a key box made it super easy. There were relaxing spots like the small courtyard and a communal lounge that added to the experience. The room could use a bit of updating, but it didn't ruin our stay 😊

Air conditioning worked well. Parking services were a huge help. Wi-Fi was spotty sometimes.

Couples seeking comfort

The location is central to explore Ortigia. First of all, the staff were super friendly! They even helped with parking before we arrived. And breakfast on our balcony was a highlight! Fresh pastries every morning, you can't beat that.

It wasn't exactly cheap! But price was fair for what we got.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the historic area. The spacious room was brilliantly clean, with accommodating amenities like a coffee machine restocked daily. Occasional noise from other guests at night could be bothersome, and parking remains a challenge given the limited options nearby. Breakfast was nice but could benefit from more variety.

Our room was clean and warm, and we loved the premium bedding and pillow menu. The location in the old town made it easy to walk to nearby attractions. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning! Emanuela at reception was helpful and cute.
